Air navigation / navigation operations, maintenance and management for fleets of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Automatization systems for unmanned vehicles’ air navigation / navigation operations.
Unmanned vehicle data obtention, processing, and exploitation.
Industrial materials and processes to produce structures and components for the aeronautics and unmanned vehicles market.
Design, production, and installation of payloads and on-board systems for unmanned vehicles.
Platforms, tools, or devices to provide certifiable training for pilots and mechanics of unmanned vehicles.
Flight termination systems for professional-grade UAVs operating beyond visual line of sight.
Systems for drone neutralisation, security systems for unmanned vehicles’ communications, and cybersecurity for UAVs and USVs.
Enabling technologies for the field of aeronautics and unmanned vehicles, such as blockchain, internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, simulation, and image capture and processing.
Support programme with two 12-month phases with a mid-term evaluation, designed for start-ups, spin-offs, and spin-outs providing solutions in the established key areas, and devoted to help participating projects validate with the market their value proposals and business models, and achieve their first sales in the aeronautics and unmanned vehicles field.
12-month support programme for newly established companies with proven business models and clients in the aeronautics and unmanned vehicles market, having proposals in the established key areas and looking for achieving consolidated and recurrent business models.
Aiming at becoming the benchmark accelerator in the field of aeronautics and unmanned vehicles, BFAero is supported by leading companies Indra and Babcock, as well as Xunta de Galicia and Civil UAVs Initiative. It provides to participating projects the following:
An entry to the aeronautics and unmanned vehicles’ value chain.
Insider mentors (from Indra and Babcock) and continuous support.
Tailored training plans to cover each project’s needs.
Access to vehicles (Indra’s MRI and Targus, and Babcock’s LUA), equipment (CTAG’s engine testbed and other Civil UAVs Initiative’s equipment), and facilities at Rozas Airfield.
Flight hours and certifications for UAV pilots.
Private offices, meeting rooms and coworking space at the business nursery of Fundación CEL Iniciativas por Lugo.
Up to 50.000 € non-refundable in incubation and up to 50.000 € in acceleration, equity loans, and other deals with third parties.
12-month incubation programme and 12-month acceleration programme covering all evolution phases, form ideation to business consolidation.
